As a key member of the Continental Europe Leadership Team, the Account Director will take ownership of the Western and Central Europe region (France & Switzerland), leading a high‑performing Account Management team.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, sharing strategic insights and thought leadership that shape long‑term partnerships and drive impact.
You will define and execute strategy for the Continental Europe France/Switzerland segment, translating customer insights into compelling propositions and sales readiness. By staying close to market trends, you will champion the voice of the customer and ensure our approach remains relevant, differentiated, and commercially strong.
We are seeking a seasoned people leader with a proven track record of exceeding financial targets. With energy and a positive, collaborative mindset, you will coach and develop your team to build deep, trusted relationships with key clients while working closely with colleagues across the business.
What you'll be doing:
Provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of experienced Account Managers covering clients across the buy side, sell side and corporate to meet sales, revenue, retention and organisational objectives.
• Ensure execution of the team on sales initiatives to meet key financial metrics
• Drive in-depth account, territory and opportunity planning using LSEG’ s sales methodology
• Forecast sales & revenue to support the Market Head
• Drive organisational objectives to support LSEG strategy
• Develop and nurture relationships with senior contacts at our customer base
• Influence functional strategy and, where relevant, participate in development of product/division strategy.
• Design and develop sales strategies to increase market share and sustainable revenue growth.
• Hold Senior leadership responsibility for a portion of the Continental Europe Market, and contribute to overall market success as a member of the LT.
• Proactively identify, define and solve most complex problems that impact the management and business direction.
• A truly inclusive people leader; ability to coach & mentor people to greater performance.
• Proactive mentality to build a diverse talent pipeline
You'll bring:
• Good understanding of the financial services Industry and good knowledge of the German Market
• Experience of working with a data vendor and / or client side
• Proven account management experience
• Proven strong people leadership responsibility and skills, in a fast-paced environment
• Able to demonstrate innovative and strategic thinking skills
• Awareness and Interest in the Market - you will be focussed on what’ s going on outside rather than what’s going on inside and adapting the company to the market and competition
• Structured methodical and hands-on approach to managing the business and team
• Excellent communication skills with a 'flexible professional attitude'
• Comfortable communicating at all levels internally and externally in an organization
• Proactive in bringing the right people together to leverage expertise and thinking from across the organisation in order to achieve great results

This role operates under a hybrid working model, with three days per week spent in the office and/or with clients.
