What makes this role exciting
The role is vital to our future growth and is pivotal in helping us redefine how we grow our customer relationships. It sits within the newly formed Account Development team and will be focused on bringing maximum value to our customers through our full suite of solutions. We are looking for experienced, entrepreneurial individuals who know what it takes to build strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Main responsibilities
Build and execute against a business plan, focused exclusively on new business opportunities with existing customers
Build a strong understanding of the shape, size, and dynamics of our customer base in order to determine areas of focus
Establish strong, collaborative working relationships with Account Management, Operations, Product and Commercial teams to drive optimal outcomes for our customers and for CloudPay
Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned client and drive continued value of our products and services
Develop, prepare, and nurture customers for advocacy
Work with clients to establish critical goals, or other key performance indicators and aid the customer in achieving their goals
Advocate customer needs/issues cross-departmentally
Experience needed for this role
Solid prior experience in Account Development, sales, or equivalent history of increasing customer adoption of new solutions and share of wallet
Experience in the Payroll and/or treasury industry would be ideal
Results orientation with track record of delivery
Excellent customer interaction skills
Ability to effectively manage executives at all levels
Familiarity working with enterprise clients
Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Excellent communication skills
