Job Description
Who is Senior Aerospace Bird Bellows?
Based in Congleton, Cheshire, Senior Bird Bellows was established in 1975 as a family run operation serving the petro-chemical and gas industries. Since then, we have evolved to become one of the industry leaders in the design, development and manufacture of pressure duct systems, flexible joints and insulation for highly regulated industries. We have established customers in aerospace (both civil and military), as well as in the nuclear, oil and gas, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.

As our Account Administrator, you’ll play a central part in supporting our account managers across the aerospace and industrial sectors—helping them deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.
• Quote preparation support — Gather materials, templates and inputs to help account managers turn quotes around quickly and accurately.
• Sales order processing — Enter orders into the ERP system promptly, issue system emails, record completion and update the relevant account manager.
• Reporting & analytics — Maintain dashboards and reports on quote volumes, conversion rates, sales orders, customer satisfaction, CRM updates, call statistics and more.
• Cross‑team coordination — Liaise with engineering for costings and with pricing/commercial teams for pricing guidance and review data.
• Weekly & monthly reporting — Provide regular updates on sales order volumes, quote queues, customer satisfaction and outstanding issues.
• CRM documentation — Keep quote statuses, confirmed orders and key notes updated daily to support account managers.
• Onboarding support — Document processes and outputs for new customer handovers.
• Activity summaries — Prepare weekly summaries of progress, issues and actions, plus ad‑hoc summaries when required
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a collaborative approach, working effectively with colleagues across all functions. You should be comfortable coordinating shared tasks, supporting others to stay organised and contributing positively to a team‑focused culture. Accuracy is critical in this role, and you must be confident handling data, working within ERP/CRM systems and following structured processes. If you enjoy asking questions, spotting inconsistencies and resolving issues you will thrive in this role.
We offer a supportive and rewarding work environment that values your wellbeing and work-life balance. Enjoy the benefits of a 4-day working week, giving you more time for what matters most. We also provide an excellent pension scheme, life assurance, and access to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme. Our team regularly takes part in social and wellbeing events, helping you stay connected, supported, and engaged both in and outside of work.
