We’re looking for an Accessibility Specialist to join our team at Wix, dedicated to advancing accessibility initiatives across our platform. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are inclusive and accessible to all users, regardless of their abilities. In this role, you will: 

• Lead accessibility projects and initiatives of varying scope, from individual features to large-scale, cross-company efforts
• Develop and deliver training, workshops, and educational content that make accessibility knowledge accessible and impactful for all Wix employees
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and engineers, to integrate accessibility best practices into our product development processes and ensure new features and updates meet high standards of inclusivity
• Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate the accessibility of Wix products, identifying areas for improvement and implementing practical solutions
• Stay informed about changes in accessibility standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring that Wix products remain compliant and up-to-date
• Gather feedback from users with disabilities and incorporate their input into product enhancements and improvements
• Advocate for accessibility initiatives internally, promoting awareness, driving positive change, and fostering a culture of inclusivity across the company
• Collaborate with team members to create a supportive environment and ensure the success and continuous improvement of Wix's accessibility efforts

At Wix, we believe our best work happens together. Our work model is fully in person, with 5 days a week from our office. Flexibility remains a core value at Wix and special requests are handled thoughtfully at the team level.

• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in accessibility-related roles, demonstrating expertise in evaluating, implementing, or advocating for accessibility solutions.
• Proven track record of driving initiatives and championing topics within teams and organizations, with the ability to manage projects from conception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility best practices, guidelines, and regulation, with experience in establishing robust quality guidelines and standards for accessibility-focused content.
• Strong communication skills with experience in public speaking, teaching, or facilitating workshops for diverse audiences, and the ability to effectively communicate technical accessibility concepts to cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in HTML and familiarity with web standards.
• In-depth understanding of how screen readers and assistive technologies interact with web content.
• A collaborative team player with a proactive approach, always eager to learn and tackle new challenges head-on.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail in accessibility work.
