We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to guide and manage a team focused on accessibility development or testing, ensuring digital products are inclusive and compliant with accessibility standards. In this role, you will lead engineers or testers in implementing and validating accessibility features across web and application platforms. You will play a critical role in building accessible user experiences by ensuring compliance with global accessibility guidelines and best practices. The position requires strong technical knowledge of accessibility standards, hands-on experience with accessibility testing or development, and the ability to mentor and guide team members. As a team leader, you will be responsible for planning deliverables, reviewing work quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, design, and development to ensure accessibility is integrated into every stage of the development lifecycle. The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for building inclusive digital solutions that improve usability for all users.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team focused on accessibility development or accessibility testing initiatives
• Ensure digital applications comply with accessibility standards and guidelines
• Guide the team in implementing accessibility best practices across web and application platforms
• Conduct code reviews or testing reviews to ensure accessibility requirements are properly implemented
• Provide technical mentorship and support to team members to improve accessibility knowledge and execution
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate accessibility into product development processes
• Identify accessibility issues and drive resolution through development or testing strategies
• Plan team tasks, manage timelines, and ensure timely delivery of accessibility initiatives
• Stay updated with evolving accessibility standards, tools, and compliance requirements
• Promote a culture of inclusive design and accessibility awareness within the development process
What Makes You a Great Fit
• 5+ years of overall experience in accessibility development or testing
• Minimum 2+ years of experience leading or managing technical teams
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines
• Hands-on experience working with accessibility tools and testing methodologies
• Knowledge of ARIA and accessibility implementation practices
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members
