As a data & AI engineer within our Digital Manufacturing & Supply Accelerator team, you will support efforts to revolutionize how Sanofi delivers life-saving medicines through data, AI and digital innovation. Main responsibilities:

Help design and implement data pipelines that transform raw data into valuable insights, while learning about scalability and reliability in cloud environments. Develop data models with a focus on query performance and efficient workloads. Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Implement data quality checks and follow governance standards. Use automated data ingestion processes, observability and monitoring systems to track operational KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain pipeline health. Build and maintain ETL processes and machine learning workflows, providing clean AI ready data for our applications. Follow and apply data engineering best practices, including design patterns, CI/CD integrations, containerized deployments, and participate in peer reviews of code and technical documentation.

About you

Experience:

Experience in implementing data pipelines and data warehouse solutions in cloud environments.

Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and pipeline orchestration in production settings.

Working with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Technical Skills:

Good proficiency in SQL and data warehousing platforms (Snowflake preferred).

Hands-on experience with ETL tools (IICS or equivalent), data transformation tools (dbt preferred) and Python for data processing.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) including orchestration frameworks (Airflow preferred).

Knowledge of CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions preferred), version control (Git), and infrastructure as code principles (Terraform preferred).

Capacity to implement engineering patterns and technical standards.

Soft Skills:

Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Self-motivated and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills to work with both technical and business stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Master's preferred) in Computer Science or a related field.

Languages: English is mandatory
