About the role

The Academic Support & Operations Coordinator provides on-ground operational and academic administration support to discipline leaders and the academic team for delivering of programs at UOW India. The role coordinates timetable, subject and enrolment administration, academic documentation, QA activities, academic committee preparation, communications, and general faculty support. The position works closely with the TNE and academic support teams at UOW Australia, liaises with relevant faculties in Australia, and coordinates with other UOW campuses to ensure alignment of academic standards and processes. It also acts as a key interface between academic staff, administrative units, students, and partner entities such as corporate learning partners and institutional collaborators. Overall, the role ensures smooth academic operations and enables faculty to focus on teaching, learning, and academic quality.

The ideal candidate is an organised, proactive academic support professional with experience working in higher education environments. You bring strong coordination skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple academic processes—from timetabling and enrolment support to documentation, reporting and faculty assistance.

You take a hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach and enjoy supporting day‑to‑day academic operations to ensure classes, schedules, assessments, and academic events run smoothly. Tech‑savvy and confident working with platforms such as Moodle, SOLS, Teams, and digital record‑management tools, you are quick to learn new systems and uphold high standards of accuracy and compliance.

A natural communicator and collaborator, you build positive working relationships with faculty, students, and internal service teams. You demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and a strong customer‑service mindset when supporting academic staff and guiding students through processes.
