We're looking for a part-time Academic Skills Advisor (0.6FTE) with a passion for contributing to campus life to join our national team of student-centred superstars!
The Academic Skills Advisor provides individual, group and skill support via consultation, generic and embedded workshops and through the provision of resources to support student learning. Programs and consultations are delivered face-to-face for students on campus and online to support our national delivery model. 
The role reports to the Team Leader, Academic Skills and functionally is part of the wider Learning Hub team who work together to provide support and access to services and resources which contribute to quality student learning experiences. The successful candidate will be: 
• Someone who derives job satisfaction from making a difference in our students' lives
• A self-starter who keen to explore innovative and student-centred opportunities to support inclusion
• A strong communicator who is able to build relationships with our wonderfully diverse students and staff
• Undergraduate degree in Education or a related discipline OR Equivalent work experience in a student learning support role in a higher education setting
• Experience using technology to develop study skills resources and deliver services to students
• Demonstrated experience in the development and facilitation of study skills workshops
• Self-directed with an ability to identify, secure and nurture opportunities and relationships.
• Self-disciplined and independently driven but able to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to embrace change within a dynamic environment of systems, processes and personnel responsibilities.
