We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented ABA Credentialing and Billing Specialists to join our team at Remote VA. This dual-role position will focus on managing the complete credentialing process for our ABA clinicians while also handling their billing needs. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring that all clinicians are fully credentialed and that billing processes run smoothly, allowing uninterrupted service delivery and compliance with insurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Credentialing: Manage the credentialing and re-credentialing process for ABA therapists through various insurance payers, ensuring all necessary documents are completed and submitted on time.
• Payer Enrollment: Utilize platforms such as CAQH and various payer portals to facilitate the enrollment of ABA practitioners and to keep their records updated.
• Billing Management: Process and submit insurance claims, verify patient insurance coverage, and handle any billing inquiries or discrepancies.
• Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clinicians regarding credentialing status and billing matters, providing timely updates and support.
• Data Management: Utilize billing and credentialing software effectively, entering and updating information accurately in real-time.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in credentialing and/or billing within the ABA or healthcare field.
• Strong understanding of ABA billing practices, insurance reimbursement, and credentialing guidelines.
• Proficiency in using credentialing databases, billing software, and EMR systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with practitioners and insurance providers.
• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of state licensure requirements and accreditation standards for ABA providers.
