• Architecture related:

• Lead the design and architecture of complex, end-to-end RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and reusability.

• Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for Automation Anywhere development within the organization.

• Contribute to the long-term RPA strategy, evaluating new features, versions, and complementary technologies within the Automation Anywhere ecosystem.

• Provide expert guidance and thought leadership on RPA opportunities, feasibility, and impact to senior management and business stakeholders.

• Oversee the technical aspects of the Automation Anywhere platform, including control room configuration, security, and environment management.

• Advanced Development & Implementation:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy highly robust and efficient bots using Automation Anywhere A2019/360, leveraging advanced features like IQ Bot, Bot Insight, and API integrations.

• Develop complex logic, handle exceptions, and implement error recovery mechanisms to ensure high bot reliability and performance.

• Integrate Automation Anywhere solutions with various enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, legacy systems) and external APIs.

• Conduct thorough unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for all developed automations.

• Lead code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and security best practices.

• Mentorship & Team Leadership:

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level Automation Anywhere developers, fostering their technical growth and promoting a culture of continuous learning.

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for multiple concurrent automation projects.

• Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues and challenges encountered by the development team.

• Contribute to the development of training materials and conduct internal workshops on advanced Automation Anywhere topics.

• Process Analysis & Solution Design:

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to thoroughly understand business processes, identify automation opportunities, and gather detailed requirements.

• Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable technical designs (Process Design Documents, Solution Design Documents).

• Perform in-depth feasibility studies and effort estimations for potential automation initiatives.

• Support & Continuous Improvement:

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed bots, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements.

• Monitor bot performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement.

• Stay current with the latest Automation Anywhere features, industry trends, and emerging RPA technologies.

Educational qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

 

Experience :

10-12 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing RPA solutions, with a strong focus on Automation Anywhere.

Mandatory/requires Skills :

• Deep expertise in Automation Anywhere A2019/360, including:

• Control Room administration, bot creation, package management, and credential vault.

• Advanced command usage, object cloning, screen scraping, and data manipulation.

• Workflow design, error handling, and exception management.

• Experience with IQ Bot, Bot Insight, and API integration.

• Proficiency in developing resilient and scalable solutions.

• Proven experience in leading large-scale, complex RPA projects from inception to deployment.

• Strong understanding of architectural principles for enterprise-level RPA deployments.

• Expertise in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, Java, .NET) for custom bot logic and integrations.

• Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts for data extraction and manipulation.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to mentor junior developers and lead technical teams.

Preferred Skills :

Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Developer (or equivalent highest-level certification).

• Experience with other RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism) is a plus.

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and integrating RPA with cloud services.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Experience in a specific industry sector relevant to our business (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Manufacturing).

• Knowledge of process mining tools.

This individual will play a key role in defining best practices, setting architectural standards, and acting as a subject matter expert for all things Automation Anywhere.
