Job Description

Duties:

Research, design, develop, or test automation, intelligent systems, smart devices, or industrial systems control. Mostly to be used in advanced nondestructive testing solutions.

Create mechanical design documents for parts, assemblies, or finished products.

Design advanced precision ultrasonic equipment for accurate or controlled applications. Such design to be used for accurate capture of inspection data.

Design engineering systems for the automation of industrial tasks.

Implement or test design solutions used in the wind and oil and gas industry.

Maintain technical project files.

Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as robotics, drones, automated and semi-automated scanners, design and machine parts and gimbals.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.

Please note, travel to client sites will be required 50% of the time within Harris county.

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in mechatronics engineering or foreign equivalent

Experience:

2 years of relevant experience
