Apave America Inc. is currently seeking an entry level Maintenance Runner for a full-time position in Houston, TX. We offer competitive pay, full benefits, and 401k w/ Company match!
Position Overview
As a Fleet Assistant you will play a vital support role within the Maintenance Department by performing general warehouse duties, basic maintenance tasks, and driving as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Assist with general warehouse organization and upkeep
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks
Drive company vehicles as needed for errands and deliveries
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Experience and Requirements
Strong work ethic and punctuality
Willingness to learn and support the team
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Pre-access drug and alcohol testing required
Pre-employment background checks will be required
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Move, carry, and lift objects 25 lbs. or more.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
