Apave America is seeking an experienced Corrosion Engineer to join our Engineering group in Houston. This role will support multiple projects and play a key part in developing and executing corrosion mitigation strategies for our clients across the region.
Position Overview:
Develop and implement corrosion mitigation strategies across various projects.
Manage materials selection and evaluate corrosion monitoring data.
Conduct risk-based assessments and contribute to RBI programs.
Create and review Integrity Operating Windows (IOWs).
Develop corrosion control documents.
Complete damage mechanism reviews and assessments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical alignment and project success.
Required Skills and Experience:
10+ years of direct field experience in corrosion engineering. Strong technical understanding of corrosion mechanisms, mitigation practices, and industry standards. Experience with materials selection, damage assessments, and corrosion monitoring technologies. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high‑quality technical solutions.
Preferred: Relevant engineering degree (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or similar).
