Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The overall objective is to provide the SOF Targeting Training Element with subject matter experts (SME) to develop, teach, and assist with implementation of a program of instruction (POI) for training SOF Cryptologic operators on advanced tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) for collection and exploitation of current and emerging communication protocols.  This includes coordination with, providing technical guidance to, analyzing feedback from, and interactively refining SOF Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) TTPs for SOF Cryptologic personnel executing global Special Operations.  The contractor shall provide qualified SMEs to be master trainer certified by NSA in order to conduct certification training/testing of SOF Cryptologic personnel. The contractor shall provide SMEs to operationally assess and evaluate emerging technologies and/or associated TTPs supporting government analysis regarding potential inclusion of new equipment into SOF SIGINT PoRs.

Required Qualifications:

 

- Must have good working knowledge and/or background in SIGINT principles and 

  operations within the SOF Community.

- Possess “General”(Level 2) HAM Certification.

- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills. 

 

Desired Qualifications: 

- Have SIGINT collection and analysis experience with the Intelligence

  Community.

- Have deployment experience working on or in support of SOF elements in a

  SIGINT capacity.

- Possess “Amateur Extra”(Level 3) HAM Certification.

- Have prior Mode 1/2/3 Certification.

- Possess experience with curriculum development and implementation.

- Have prior experience as an instructor.

- Strong understanding of RF spectrum allocation and management process.

- Have force modernization experience.

 

 

Education & Experience:

 

- Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and three plus years' of related
   experience.
- Must maintain active/current TS/SCI clearances.
