Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Public Relations (Consumer) to drive exceptional earned media attention that supports our growing brand portfolio. As the Senior Manager, Public Relations you will develop and execute consumer-driven PR strategies, craft and tell inspired stories, maintain strong media relationships and garner favorable media coverage for our brands, products and initiatives. This position will work within the Brand Marketing organization to maintain our industry-leading levels of brand awareness, brand affinity, and reputation.

You will...

-Drive the development and execution of brand and product storytelling to generate positive earned media coverage and conversation across all HelloFresh brands.

-Play a critical role in shaping upstream and strategic communications to drive business.

-Partner with internal stakeholders across the organization to identify news within the walls of HelloFresh, leveraging brand content, data, and in-house experts to secure a broader earned footprint.

-Plan and execute disruptive PR programs, brand-led partnerships, product launches, sustainability initiatives, and seasonal campaigns.

-Build and foster relationships with members of the media -- conduct research to constantly build a rolodex of relevant contacts and outlets.

-Help oversee measurement, campaign efficacy, and budget.

Requirements:
At a minimum, you have...

• Undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
• 7+ years experience in a PR/Communications role (agency experience a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• An avid news junkie who keeps up with trends both in and outside of the food/tech industries
• Experience with brand performance tracking
• A true go-getter. You’re proactive and always think two steps ahead
• Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change.
• Experience with media monitoring and database tools (Muck Rack, Talkwalker, TVEyes etc.)
• Experience working with food and lifestyle brands. Experience working with D2C brands and/or subscription brands a plus.
