(NOTE: The positions will NOT be remote)

Apave America, Inc. serves the oil and gas, petroleum and petrochemical, chemical, power generation, and pipeline industries.

Our USA operations provide services from Texas (Houston, Angleton, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, Deer Park, El Paso, Texas City, and Victoria), Oklahoma (Tulsa and Ponca City), Louisiana (Marrero-New Orleans, Gonzales, and Sulphur-Lake Charles), Colorado (Denver), Indiana (Hammond-Chicago), Illinois (Robinson), Kansas (El Dorado), Michigan (Taylor-Detroit), Minnesota (Moorhead and Inver Grove Heights-St. Paul), North Dakota (Bismarck), Ohio (Canton), and Utah (North Salt Lake).  Our Canadian operations provide services from 9 office locations, our UK operations provide services from 7 office locations, and our Australian operations provide services from 5 locations.

As one of the largest independent NDT companies in North America, we are owned and operated by our employees and active managers.  We have expanded our business from basic NDT services to include:

Inspection Service (NDT and Radiography services)

Specialty Services (Advanced NDT technologies)

Inspection Services (API 510/570/653 inspections)

Engineering Services (including Materials Laboratory services)

Rope Access Services

Wind Services

State-of-the-art equipment and technology. We have been successful because we upgrade our technical capabilities continually. We cannot minimize our customers’ costs without utilizing the best equipment for the job.

Employee Training. Continuous education is an Apave America Inc. policy. We utilize almost exclusively full-time permanent employees who work only for Apave America Inc. We provide a continuous training initiative program. We keep our technicians up to date on new technologies.

Customer Training. Many of our customers perform NDT tests and visual examinations in-house and/or have the need to evaluate NDT test results. In order to help our customers meet this need, we also provide customized short course training programs at our facilities and/or at the customers’ location.

On staff full time Safety Auditors who review our employees’ practices and programs; areas audited are those covering Vehicles, Facilities, Adherence to Safe Work Practices and Procedures, and Equipment Maintenance.

Membership with ISNetworld, PICS Auditing, PECS, and Veriforce.

Work Conditions:

·         Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in diverse industrial environments with varying climate conditions

·         Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors, client personnel and a wide range of                              stakeholders

·         Working in a plant and/or shop area around production machinery with extreme noise levels

·         Work from various levels of heights and/or confined spaces for long periods of time

·         Wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection (PPE)

·         May require travel to different job sites as needed, sometimes on short notice

·         May require shiftwork (days, evenings, nights)

 

Physical and Mental Requirements:

·         Ability to lift, move, and carry objects weighing 75lbs. or greater

·         Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, and climb

·         Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights, including climbing tanks, ladders, scaffolding, towers,            piping systems, catwalks, structural steel, and wind turbines

·         Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body,              such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking and stooping

·         Working extended hours and standing for extended periods of time

·         Work in indoor and outdoor environments in conditions of extreme heat and/or cold

·         Work in and near industrial hazards

·         Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties

·         Remain consistently active throughout shift

·         Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing and other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable                    accommodation, which permits the employee to communicate effectively

·         Sufficient vision (close vision and distance vision) or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable              accommodation, which permits the employee to investigate

·         Sufficient manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to                        perform routine in-field or office duties

·         Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits              the employee to perform routine in-field or office duties and travel to off-site locations

·         Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection (PPE)

·         Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively

·         Exhibit sensible and responsible behavior

·         Ability to work autonomously or within a team environment 

·         Ability to travel to different job sites, sometimes on short notice

·         Ability to work shiftwork if needed and/or required
