Paid Search Expert | Conversion Value & Feed Optimization Specialist
Role Overview
We’re looking for an elite Paid Search specialist—someone who lives and breathes the entire Google ecosystem and understands ecommerce growth at a technical, strategic, and commercial level.
This is not a role for a generalist media buyer or lead-gen marketer. This role is for a Paid Search geek who understands how conversion value, feeds, attribution, and YouTube all work together to scale DTC ecommerce brands profitably.
You’ll be client-facing, trusted as a strategic partner, and expected to own paid search performance end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and scale Paid Search for DTC ecommerce brands, with a primary focus on Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube
• Act as a conversion value expert, architecting value-based bidding strategies that align with LTV, margins, and true business outcomes
• Lead data feed optimization across Shopping and PMax using platforms such as DataFeedWatch, Feedonomics, or similar
• Build, audit, and optimize complex account structures with a deep understanding of signals, intent, query sculpting, and feed-driven performance
• Own YouTube for performance, including full-funnel strategy, creative testing frameworks, and integration with paid search and PMax
• Analyze and interpret performance using GA4, Google Ads, and attribution tools to surface clear, actionable insights
• Partner directly with clients—explaining strategy, performance, and tradeoffs clearly and confidently
• Collaborate with creative, CRO, analytics, and engineering teams to improve conversion rate, AOV, and revenue efficiency
• Continuously test, iterate, and push the edge of what’s possible in the paid search ecosystem

Requirements:
What We’re Looking For
• Deep expertise in Paid Search for ecommerce (DTC required) — not just lead generation
• Advanced understanding of conversion value optimization, value rules, bidding strategies, and margin-aware scaling
• Strong hands-on experience with product feed optimization and Shopping/PMax mechanics
• Proven YouTube Ads expertise, especially for performance and revenue-driven outcomes
• Highly technical mindset with the ability to diagnose performance issues at the data, feed, and auction level
• Comfortable in client-facing environments, presenting insights and leading strategic conversations
• Naturally curious, analytical, and obsessed with how paid search actually works under the hood
Tools & Platforms
• Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube)
• GA4 & Google Tag Manage
• Feed optimization platforms (DataFeedWatch, Feedonomics, or similar)
• Ecommerce platforms (Shopify experience strongly preferred)
• Attribution & analytics tools (Triple Whale, Northbeam, or equivalent a plus)
