Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist. The SLPA will assist in assessment, treatment implementation, and development of individualized therapy programs while delivering high-quality care to residents and students in the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide speech therapy services to clients under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in accordance with state regulations.
Assist in the evaluation process as directed by the supervising Speech Therapist.
Support the development of problem lists, short-term goals, long-term goals, and treatment plans.
Monitor client response to interventions and consult with the Speech Therapist regarding necessary modifications.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with department standards and regulatory guidelines.
Record billable treatment times per department procedures.
Provide therapy services in alignment with established standards of practice and productivity requirements.
Participate in Quality Assurance programs as required.
Maintain ongoing continuing education and professional development.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualification Requirements
Current SLPA license/registration in the state of hire
Bilingual (preferred but not required)
Current TB screening and CPR certification
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong proactive and reactive decision-making abilities
