3rd Shift - Material Handler

3rd Shift
11pm to 7am
Sunday to Thursday
$15/hr Base Rate + $0.50 Shift Differential

DUTIES

- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials within the facility. 

- Load and unload raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. 

- Ensure materials are staged correctly and delivered to production areas in a timely manner. 

- Maintain accurate inventory records by logging material movements. 

- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues. 

- Operate production equipment when necessary.

- Follow safety procedures, including the proper handling of powdered metal materials to prevent contamination and hazards. 

- Assist in general housekeeping to keep work areas clean and organized. 

- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Forklift certification (required) with experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing environment. 
- Prior experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar role in an industrial setting preferred.
- Knowledge of material handling best practices and workplace safety regulations. 
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment. 
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
