3rd Shift - Sunday through Thursday 8:00pm - 4:30am.
Pay Range - $25.72 per hour

This job includes routine tasks associated with all the QA Lab functions, SAP data entry, and support for all other plant operations and projects. Candidates will be required to have the following to qualify. They will be required to hold a NYSAM License for milk receiving, Appendix N for Beta Lactams, and DMC testing. A two-year degree in the technical field and knowledge of microbiology and chemistry preferred. Applicants will be expected to have computer skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and SAP/EWM inventory management systems. Daily routine tasks will include obtaining samples from processing, packaging lines, and vessels for inspection, swabbing and testing. Perform chemical, organoleptic, and bacteriological tests on raw, in process and packaged products. Perform swabbing for general sanitation testing and validations. Generating formulas for processing department and standardizing when out of compliance. Daily entry of QA releases, batch reporting, good issuing, good receipts, and process order closing in a timely manner. Notifying management of issues in a timely manner. Calibration of lab equipment according to the Master Lab Calibration/Validation List. Generate reports for QC compliance and data inputting into SAP/EWM inventory system and QA Studio. Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements. Always keep all work areas neat and clean, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements. Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way. Must stay until job is completed or relieved. Must perform any other assignments by a QA Manager, QA Supervisor, or shift Supervisor. This description is not all inclusive and is subject to change.
