Role Purpose
The Assistant Vice President (AVP), 3rd Party & Supply Chain Resiliency Assurance supports the Enterprise Resilience Office in strengthening the firm’s ability to withstand, respond to and recover from disruptions arising from critical third‑party and supply chain dependencies. The role focuses on the assessment, monitoring and reporting of resiliency risks associated with Critical Third‑Party Service Providers (CTPSPs), ensuring alignment with State Street’s operational resilience, business continuity and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform third‑party resiliency verification through review of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), test evidence and supporting documentation.
• Supervise and oversee the DDQ review process to ensure consistency, quality and timely completion.
• Engage directly with third‑party providers on resiliency, continuity and recovery matters.
• Identify, document and assess resiliency risks, weaknesses and gaps associated with CTPSPs.
• Open, track and approve remediation actions for third‑party resiliency findings.
• Monitor, track and report on third‑party resiliency assessments, testing outcomes and remediation status.
• Support validation that operational resilience, business continuity and regulatory requirements are met for third‑party engagements.
• Prepare management information, dashboards and reporting for ERO leadership and stakeholders.
• Support the development and maintenance of third‑party resiliency standards, procedures and reporting artefacts.
• Act as a liaison between ERO, Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM), Engagement Managers and Business Continuity teams.
• Execute additional program activities and initiatives as required to support the maturity of the Third‑Party Resiliency function.

Skills & Experience
Essential
• Experience in third‑party risk management, operational resilience or business continuity within financial services.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess third‑party resiliency risks and controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Desirable
• Experience supervising staff or coordinating distributed processes.
• Professional certification in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience or Third‑Party Risk.
• Project management, analysis and reporting experience.
• Experience supporting regulatory or audit engagements.
Success Measures
Short Term (12 months)
• Consistent and timely completion of third‑party resiliency assessments.
• Improved visibility of third‑party resiliency risks and remediation progress.
• Strong working relationships established with Krakow shared services and global ERO stakeholders.
Medium Term (2–3 years)
• Demonstrable improvement in the quality and consistency of third‑party resiliency assurance.
• Reduction in repeat or systemic third‑party resiliency findings.
• Embedded and scalable operating model for third‑party resiliency assurance.
Minimum Salary:
zł182,004 Annual
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
