Position Available
Role Title: Licenced Mechanic
Role Description: We are currently seeking a Licenced Mechanic or 310T Truck and Coach Technician to join our team. This role involved working on a diverse fleet including small engines, light-duty vehicles, pickup trucks, and box trucks. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable handling a variety of mechanical tasks in a fast-faced environment.
Location: Sudbury
Schedule: Full-Time
Duties & Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on trucks, pickups, and fleet vehicles
Perform maintenance and repairs on small engines and equipment
Including but not limited to industrial pressure washers, auto scrubbers, dry ice machines, compressors, etc..
Conduct routine preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
Maintain accurate work orders, service records, and documentation
Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors and upper management
Ensure shop is kept organized and clean
Ensure tools and equipment are properly calibrated, stocked, and available
As necessary provide maintenance services for the office
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician Licence (Preferred)
Experience working with small engines and light-duty vehicles is considered a strong asset
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Be a positive influence on the work environment
Ability to manage a face-paced work environment
Valid driver’s licence (DZ licence considered an asset)
Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
Must be flexible and available on evenings and weekends as necessary
Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 50lbs
Strong time management, organization skills, work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to workplace health and safety
Individuals must be comfortable and willing to work outside
Industrial Pressure Washing experience considered an asset
Compensation and benefits
Wage Range: $35 - $40/hour
