2nd Shift Experienced Machine Operator (Injector, Vacuum, Roll Stock)

The primary job duties of our General Laborers include packaging the meat, labeling items, palletizing shipments, and retrieving frozen products. We’ll provide the training, you show up ready to work! If you’re interested, please apply today! Jobs start immediately. 

Job duties:

Complete physical labor as needed in a cold (32℉), wet manufacturing environment

Follow all appropriate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Complete all assigned tasks and shifts as assigned according to production requirements, including but not limited to moving fresh pork through the production floor

Follow all safety guidelines and wear all required safety gear ensuring a safe work environment for you and your co-workers.

Continuous training in Safe Quality Food (SQF) and all additional training as required.

Fulfill other duties and assignments as assigned by managers.

To qualify for this job you must have:

Flexibility with work hours, in general

Have strong attention to detail

Understand and follow verbal and written instruction in Spanish or in English

Punctual with great attendance 

Ability to satisfy physical requirements (see below)

The work environment will include cold temperatures between 50℉ to 10℉  (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals. Villari Foods will provide cold-weather gear to you.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud. Ear protection is required and provided.

Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Able to speak and hear for safety and productivity

Use scanners, tablets, radios, phones, and other warehouse machinery

Frequently required to stand, use hands and/or fingers to grasp, handle, feel, reach, and pull

Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
