2D to 3D Point Cloud Conversion Specialist (Crystal Engraving)

RemoteVA PH is looking for a talented 2D to 3D Point Cloud Conversion Specialist to join our growing team. This role focuses on transforming 2D portrait images into 3D (bas-relief) point cloud models designed specifically for subsurface crystal engraving using advanced laser technology.

If you have experience in 3D modeling, image processing, and precision-based digital design, this is an exciting opportunity to work with innovative engraving applications in a remote, full-time setting.

Key Responsibilities

-Convert high-resolution 2D images (JPEG/PNG) into 3D bas-relief point cloud models with raised facial features.

-Enhance image contrast, clarity, and definition to achieve optimal engraving results.

-Ensure file compatibility with engraving machine formats (e.g., OBJ).

-Scale and adjust 3D models to fit crystal dimensions (e.g., 5cm cube).

-Conduct quality checks before delivering engraving-ready files.

Requirements:
Qualifications

-Proven experience in 3D modeling, CAD, or image-to-3D conversion.

-Familiarity with point cloud generation tools and techniques.

-Strong understanding of bas-relief modeling and digital sculpting.

-Knowledge of 3D file formats (OBJ, STL, etc.) and scaling processes.

-Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
