Dragon Mania Legends is a free-to-play dragon-collection game developed by Gameloft, released in 2015. It has become one of Gameloft’s long-running live-ops titles, surpassing 220M+ downloads worldwide and maintaining millions of active players years after launch.

2D Concept Artist is responsible for producing high-quality 2D concept art, collaborating with 3D artists to ensure design accuracy and alignment with Gameloft’s style guidelines. The role includes developing visual assets such as icons and banners, maintaining consistent quality across deliverables, and proactively identifying and resolving workflow issues to support efficient production.

Your main challenges will include:

• Creating dragons from concept to final polish, preparing assets for animation.
• Creating concepts of isometric buildings, decor.
• Creation of icons, currencies, backgrounds and other UI assets.
• Creating of promo art (complex scenes, characters, backgrounds etc.),
• Collaborating with 3D artists: preparing concepts for 3D modeling, giving feedback etc.

• Superior eye for light, value, color and composition.
• Solid knowledge of concept art and design principles.
• Good knowledge of casual/cartoonish art style and ability to work with it.
• Basic knowledge 3D tools (as a minimum: 3D blocking at concept stage).
• Creativity, ability both to provide and realize original and fresh ideas.
• Flexibility (personal & professional).
• Willingness to work as a part of team (feedback, collaboration, deadlines).
• Passion for mobile video games.
• Good English communication skill: able to communicate with workmates.

Will be a plus if you have:

• Advanced knowledge of 3D.
• Professional education (Fine Arts / Design).
• Understanding of mobile games market.
