2D/3D Design Internship NY - Winter 2026

What we are looking for:

Brand New School is seeking 2D/3D Design Interns to join our team in NY and LA.

The ideal candidate is eager to jump into a dynamic creative environment, is collaborative, is comfortable working in a wide range of design styles, and has a distinct point of view.

Under the guidance of our team, the 2D/3D Design Intern will gain invaluable real world experience and hone their skills as they contribute to a diverse slate of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of high-quality design assets for a variety of 2D/3D projects. Intern may work on assignments such as designing content for social media, branding systems, TV commercials and experience design

• Prepare design presentations and client deliverables

• Follow the direction of Creative Directors to revise existing designs as needed

• Work collaboratively with Creative Directors to meet milestones within a project’s established timeline

• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and critiques with Creative Directors, Leads and peers

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly, take constructive feedback and conduct oneself in a professional manner in the workplace

• Proven experience with the following softwares: Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma. Knowledge of After Effects and C4D are a bonus

• Brand New School’s Internship is full time, 40 hours a week and spans approximately 3 months. Studio hours are 10:00am - 7:00pm. If you are unable to commit to this work schedule, please hold off on applying

• We will only consider applicants who can follow our hybrid work schedule (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office / Monday and Friday remote)

• Must be authorized to work in the US

Salary Range

$25/hr
