26-043- PRIMARY CARE PARAMEDIC- EVANSBURG- TEMPORARY FULL-TIME
Position Overview
Associated Ambulance is currently seeking two (2) qualified Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) to join our team at the Evansburg Station. This temporary full-time position offers a predictable and balanced shift schedule of four days on, followed by four days off. As an PCP with Associated Ambulance, you will be an essential part of our emergency medical response team, providing vital pre-hospital care and life-saving interventions to the community.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patient conditions to determine the extent of injury or illness and immediate care requirements.
Administer pre-hospital emergency medical care, including patient stabilization for ambulance transportation.
Monitor vital signs, assess blood glucose levels, and perform other diagnostic procedures.
Execute advanced life support procedures such as intubation and cardiac pacing.
Work collaboratively with emergency medical personnel, emergency communications officers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Valid Primary Care Paramedic practice permit that meets the EMS practice requirements in Alberta.
Current, valid Alberta Class IV driver’s license.
Completion of all mandatory and required training, including MCP and PDIC.

Ability to work effectively within an inter professional healthcare team.
Ability to remain calm and perform efficiently in high-pressure emergency situations.
