Working as part of our established Geoscience and Remediation Services (GRS) team, you will collaborate with a team of environmental engineers, scientists, hydrogeologists and geologists to provide contaminated land assessment, environmental monitoring, and remediation consulting across a wide range of projects, including those in the oil and gas, mining, Department of Defence, and public sectors. The substantive role involves working on challenging projects across various industries, with a primary focus on fieldwork supported by occasional office-based tasks. You will also have the opportunity to work on remote client sites, collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

How you’ll make a difference:

• Primarily assist with fieldwork and environmental data collection across a variety of project sites, including short, medium and / or long-term site programs in QLD, and occasionally work interstate to support the national GRS team as opportunities arise.
• Support surface water and groundwater monitoring programs.
• Contribute to contamination investigations and remediation projects of varying size and complexity.
• Collect, handle, and manage environmental samples from a range of media, ensuring safety and sample quality.
• Support the development of technical environmental reports.
• Collaborate with offices across Australia and New Zealand, gaining exposure to a wide range of projects and disciplines.

• Graduate Attributes: We’re seeking graduates with strong communication and teamwork skills, a proactive and adaptable mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
• Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science / Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geology, Geoscience.
• Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
• Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2027. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2027.
• Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is essential for this position, enabling you to travel as required.
• Fieldwork: Willingness to undertake fieldwork is essential.
• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Defence security clearance.
• Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying.
