This role focuses on improving how the back office operates at scale. The intern will help document, analyze, and enhance operational processes while working directly with stakeholders to validate workflows and support testing efforts.

This is a hands-on role designed for someone who likes structure, problem-solving, and turning ambiguity into clear, repeatable processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Document existing back-office processes across key operational functions

• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate workflows

• Build detailed process maps and flow diagrams (current and future state)

• Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, or control gaps within processes

• Support development of standardized operating procedures (SOPs)

• Assist in building and executing test plans for process or system changes

• Coordinate working sessions with stakeholders to refine requirements and validate outputs

• Track feedback, revisions, and approvals across documentation and testing efforts

• Help ensure processes are clearly defined, scalable, and audit-ready

What Success Looks Like:
• Processes are clearly documented and easy to follow

• Stakeholders are aligned on how work should be executed

• Test plans are thorough and reduce risk during implementation

• Opportunities for efficiency or simplification are identified and surfaced

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to break down complex processes into structured steps

• Strong written communication skills, especially in documentation

• Comfortable facilitating discussions with stakeholders to gather information

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and clarity

• Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Preferred (Not Required):
• Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, etc.)

• Exposure to testing methodologies or QA concepts

• Interest in operations, process improvement, or continuous improvement disciplines (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
