We are seeking a motivated Front-End Developer Intern to support the ongoing development of our internal enterprise applications. This internship provides hands-on experience working within an established development team, contributing to real projects that impact daily business operations. The ideal candidate is a curious, detail-oriented student with a strong interest in modern web technologies and user interface development, who is comfortable learning quickly, reading existing code, and collaborating within a team environment.
This internship is paid and will run 9 weeks at our Lewisville, TX office. The program is scheduled to start from June 1st to July 31st.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the development and enhancement of front-end components for internal web applications.
• Work on current priority projects as assigned by the Development Team.
• Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate front-end components with APIs and back-end services.
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and development planning sessions.
• Troubleshoot UI issues and contribute to continuous improvement of the application.
• Work within established team workflows using version control and development tools.
Preferred Skills and Technologies
• Experience with Angular (coursework or personal projects in any recent version).
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Exposure to Bootstrap or other responsive UI frameworks.
• Basic understanding of Git for version control and interest in modern CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work in Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio.
Nice to Have
• Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server, including basic query writing or stored procedures.
• Familiarity with C# and .NET Framework.
• Understanding of API consumption from a front-end perspective.
Relevant Coursework
• Web development, front-end engineering, or UI design.
• Software engineering or object-oriented programming.
• Databases and SQL.
• Courses involving team-based projects, version control, or modern development workflows.
