Internship Overview

The 2026 Summer High School Internship Program at Prestage Farms offers a unique opportunity for high school students interested in agriculture, animal science, and business operations. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of our farm operations and production processes. Interns will have the chance to engage directly with our teams and learn about the essential functions that contribute to our success in the agriculture industry.

Requirements:
• Must be a current high school student (rising juniors or seniors preferred).
• 16+ Years of age
• Interest in agriculture, animal science, or environmental studies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and engage in various tasks around the farm.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols in a farm environment.
• 2 Letters of recommendation; one teacher/advisor and one personal
