2026 Server Software Engineering Rotation Program State-of-the-art products demand state-of-the-art sotware and firmware, and that’s the role of our Software Engineering team. We lead and deliver the analysis, design, programming, debugging, troubleshooting, or modification of software for firmware applications. Our team oversees programming activities involving analog and digital hardware as well as software operating systems. We also influence product development at all stages. In short, we use the latest technology to modify existing solutions, in addition to developing innovative new software and firmware solutions. Join us as a Software Engineer on our Infrastructure Solutions Group under Customer Solutions Engineering team in Taipei to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact. What you’ll achieve As a member of Server Software Engineering 1-year Rotation Program, you will analyze the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment to build technical system answers and create sophisticated software solutions. In the 1-year program, you will rotate to Server BIOS, Portfolio Solution Engineering and Power Engineering teams every 4 months. The program provides you with a broader engineering view and helps you build up the skills, perspectives, and connections enabling you to become a solution architect or engineer leader in your career. You will: Participate in the preparation, review and evaluation of software requirements and specifications Prepare written specifications for tasks of varied complexity from verbal requirements Use defined software lifecycle methodologies Review and implement test strategies for software products Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and expect to graduate between 2025 February to 2026 December Good knowledge of programming languages(C/C++/Python), operating systems, BIOS, security, embedded software/firmware, tools and utilities, as applicable Knowledge of server technologies Ability to code/debug moderately sophisticated programs using design specifications Knowledge of software architectures and applications Desirable Requirements Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup Capability to influence others to achieve results Who we are We believe that each of us has the power to make an impact.
