2026 Part-Time Stage Manager

Red Bull New York (“RBNY”) are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS) and one of the league’s ten original charter clubs. Founded in 1996, RBNY has competed in MLS since its inception. RBNY’s First Team plays its home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey and its Second Team plays its home matches at Montclair State University. RBNY are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull GmbH, after which the team is named.

RBNY’s First Team is a three-time MLS Supporters’ Shield winner and a two-time Conference Champion, while the Second Team is the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Champion. RBNY also operates one of the nation’s premier youth soccer development programs, spanning local partnerships across New York and New Jersey. RBNY’s Academy is ranked among the top development organizations in the country.

POSITION SUMMARY

The New York Red Bulls are looking for a match day stage manager to assist with execution of game entertainment elements. The ideal candidate would have prior sports experience, the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment, and a passion for entertainment. This would be a paid, part-time role and events based. They would report to the Manager of Game Presentation & Entertainment.

Executing game entertainment elements like National Anthem performers, Color Guards, and other pregame or halftime activations on a match-by-match basis

Assisting in-arena host with live hits and movements within the stadium

Help in execution of partnerships activations like giveaways, contestant selection, and overall fan engagement

Be a representative of the New York Red Bulls brand while interacting with talent and fans

Prior stage manager experience, preferably within sports

Have positive interactions with performers, fans and match day participants

Effective communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and team oriented environment

Availability for the majority of New York Red Bulls home matches

Because of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, your assigned hours may vary to reflect our needs (includes nights and weekends).

The flat rate for this position is $300/ day. The flat rate is subject to change and may be modified.
