THE POSITION

Hoosier Racing Tire is seeking a 2026 Controlling Intern to join our team in Lakeville, IN. This internship offers hands-on experience in analyzing operational and financial data, supporting month-end close processes, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. The role provides valuable exposure to manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and overall business performance analysis.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Conduct financial and variance analysis (volume, mix, scrap) to support operational decision-making
• Support cost controlling, expense tracking, and cost center reporting against budget and forecast
• Assist with month-end closing activities and ensure accuracy of financial data in collaboration with accounting
• Support business case calculations to provide insights on investments and development projects.
• Help improve and standardize reporting processes and tools, primarily using Excel

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited university, pursuing a degree in:

Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum sophomore standing by Fall 2026
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Must be able to commute to Lakeville, IN. Transportation and lodging are not provided for this internship.
