Job Description

Frontier STEM High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate ELL Paraprofessional to join our team. As an ELL Paraprofessional, you will provide support to students who needs language support in a classroom setting. You will work closely with teachers and other members of the educational team to help ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.

Starting hourly salary is $20.02; commensurate with experience and education.

Qualifications

Completion of at least 60 credits of college coursework or an associate's degree

Bilingual in Spanish and English

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Responsibilities:

Assist students with language needs in academic, social, and emotional areas in the classroom.

Provide one-on-one or small group instruction as directed by the classroom teacher

Implementing accommodations that cater to language needs

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher

Communicate with parents and other members of the educational team regarding student progress and needs

Attend meetings and training sessions as required
