Mobile Crisis Response Service is a rapid response service to assist individuals with reducing risk factors. This Service is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. CHCG LLC provides opportunities to support MCR from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one behavioral health support services to individuals with severe mental health diagnosis.
Initiate and facilitate de-escalation techniques and coping mechanisms to assist the clients with maintaining self-control.
Use good interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts and build a rapport with the client.
Assist clients with making progress towards their individualized service plan goals.
Connect clients to resources within the community for shelter, food, housing, finances, jobs, etc.
Assess and monitor the safety and well-being of the client
Coordinate with your supervisor and other community partners to ensure you are providing appropriate care to the individual.
Be available for 24 Hour Emergency Crisis Response
Job Requirements
Be available to potentially provide services during the day, evening, weekends and holidays.
Provide and maintain an acceptable driving record and you must have a car.
Be licensed by the Board of Counseling in Virginia as a QMHP.
MCR Certification for Adults and Children.
Have access to and the ability to use a computer, printer, internet services, and other necessary items to produce electronic documentation within the program.
Maintain communication with the Clinical team through e-mail and cell phone as needed.
