Main Objectives & Purpose:
Position Objective: "Job Background/context:
The Project Delivery Manager, manages the delivery and implementation of key Production / APS global projects for CIB Production erstwhile GM IT APS. The role reports to the Project Delivery & Transformation Lead. The area helps drive project, change and value with stakeholders and partners with an end-to-end view, realising the defined objective, with expected quality outcomes, within timelines and budget.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
1. 5+ years of Project Management experience mainly in Investment Banking / IT Industry
2. Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
3. Strong problem solving & analytical skills with ability to synthesize a variety of data points and distil into accurate and concise commentary, actions and presentations
4. Highly organised and methodical; able to multi-task to meet targets
5. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Microsoft Visio. Working knowledge (as end-user) of Clarity, SharePoint and JIRA
6. Project Management Methodologies i.e. Prince II/ PMP certified
7. Experience of working with technical infrastructure / development / support teams"
Roles and responsibilities: "Project Delivery & Transformation activities (PD&T):
• Manage, plan and deliver the organisational and operational aspects of the APS programme
• Manage and own project deliverables through its lifecycle
• Manage work stream/project key milestones, timescales and budget
• Contribute to project delivery frameworks and templates/artefacts
• Manage risks and issues to ensure mitigation is agreed and accepted by key stakeholders
• Build effective working relationships with customers, partners and colleagues
• Drive the day-to-day activities of project resources through matrix management
• Report on progress and status of projects undertaken for total management transparency, managing priorities as required
• Ensure operational requirements are delivered through the project lifecycle to an agreed quality
• Manage service improvement initiatives where assigned as a project"
